  1. ⇧⌘2
    freeze とめる

    Press ⇧⌘2 (Shift-Command-2). The screen holds still.

  2. drag
    pick えらぶ

    Drag a box over the text.

  3. ⌘V
    paste はる

    It’s already on your clipboard.

Why does it need Screen Recording?

macOS requires it for any app that reads the screen. Kirinuki only looks when you press the shortcut and keeps no screenshots.

Is there a free trial?

Can I copy text from a PDF that won’t let me select it?
